Location: Gurgaon, India (Hybrid)

Job Description

Hands-on experience in VMware ESXi/VC installation and configuration, troubleshooting ESXi, and vCenter Appliances. Strong background in datacenter health monitoring (server/UCS/VC), OS monitoring, and automation using Shell/PowerShell/Python. Proficiency in VMware ESXi patching/Upgrade (VUM/LCM, baselines, host profiles), resource pools, DRS, HA clusters, and virtual networking configuration. Experience with Windows Server administration (Windows 2003-2022) and related server management tools, hardware troubleshooting, firmware/BIOS upgrades, and Active Directory.

Azure Cloud & Infrastructure

• Cloud (Azure): Managing Windows servers in Azure, deploying and managing VMs, VNets, load balancers, and storage; configuring Azure services (virtual networks, storage accounts, Key Vault, load balancer, clusters) and troubleshooting.
• Migration & Cloud Transition: Hands-on migration experience from On-Premises to Cloud in Azure; large-scale application transfers to the cloud; root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Provision/infrastructure deployments using Terraform, ARM templates, and Azure CLI; designing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps; automating infrastructure provisioning and deployments.
• Azure Management & Monitoring: Monitor and optimize Azure environments for high availability, performance, and security; ongoing issue resolution related to builds, deployments, and infrastructure.
• Azure Documentation & Administration: Documentation and administration experience; Azure certifications appreciated.

Windows Server & Directory Services

• Administration of Windows Servers (2003-2022); advanced OS troubleshooting; server builds from images; strong knowledge of Windows OS and VMware integration.
• Server management tools, hardware troubleshooting, firmware/BIOS upgrades; Windows server troubleshooting (Blue Screen, performance, permissions).
• Active Directory: knowledge and troubleshooting; SMB share configurations and NTFS permissions administration.

File Services & Networking

• DFS configurations and DFSR configurations; bulk data migration; Windows File share configuration and performance tuning.

Other Skills & Certifications

• VRealize automation knowledge; experience with monitoring, automated security, health checks, and OS monitoring.
• Experience with Terraform, ARM templates, Azure DevOps; familiarity with Terraform, Azure CLI, and cloud-native tooling.
• Documentation and Azure certifications are appreciated.
