Job Summary

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Microsoft Azure, Active Directory (AD), and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), you will design, implement, manage, and support Azure infrastructure solutions for our clients. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance environments, aligned with organizational and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure, including Virtual Networks, NSGs, VPNs, and compute workloads.
  • Implement and manage Active Directory and Azure AD, including Group Policies, domain services, and identity governance.
  • Deploy and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, optimizing user experience and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Azure resources, networking, identity, and access.
  • Collaborate with project teams and customers to gather requirements, create documentation, and deliver technical solutions.
  • Monitor performance, security, and compliance of Azure environments.
  • Research and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, security, and cost-efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Security).
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory (on-prem and Azure AD), including AD DS, ADFS, and hybrid identity.
  • Practical experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) setup and optimization.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, ARM, or Bicep. Familiarity with DevOps practices: CI/CD, version control systems (Git), and automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and security tools in Azure.
  • Understanding of cloud security principles, identity and access management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in Azure infrastructure and identity management.
  • Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate / Azure Solutions Architect
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty

Good to have

  • Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
