THE ROLE

Senior Engineering Manager, Growth

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager, Growth

to join our growing team. This person will build and lead a team of high performing Growth engineers.

The ideal candidate is someone with experience building tools that optimize marketing campaigns, creative generations and/or performance optimization across various marketing platforms.

They’re self-starter, problem-solver and successful in combining technology and data into best-in-class outcomes. The candidate is energized by solving complex business problems and consistently effective in making high-judgment decisions at a rapid pace amidst the frequent ambiguity that comes with charting a course of action with no precedent. Moreover, the ideal candidate is energized by an environment where strategy, innovation and decision-making are intentionally distributed, where candour, speed and data are highly valued and colleagues at all levels hold each other to unusually high standards on behalf of Quince customers.

Responsibilities

Lead and build a high performing Growth engineering team and foster a culture of inclusion and collaboration.
Own business critical efforts on our performance marketing initiatives working closely with the marketing, product, data science and analytics teams to deliver high-quality and high-performance tooling and systems.
Collaborate across other engineering teams and data science org to understand and implement business requirements.
Collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to define and refine requirements, and ensuring that they are translated into actionable tasks/milestones.
Define performance metrics and drive data-driven decisions.
Foster strong engineering practices and a culture of quality, experimentation and continuous improvement.
Drive alignment with leadership and team members along with your management counterparts.

Qualifications

Required:

You have excellent computer science fundamentals

10+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years leading high-performing engineering teams.
Proven experience building and leading growth engineering and building performance marketing tools/pipelines.
Experience partnering with Data Science to drive performance marketing efficiency
Experience with A/B testing frameworks and data-driven experimentation.
Deep familiarity with full-stack development workflows, product ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Demonstrated ability to optimize service availability, performance, and stability through operational excellence.
Passion for technology, with a strong track record of driving impact in hyper-growth product environments.

Preferred:

Experience and knowledge in campaign management and ads bidding optimization is a plus.

All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location.

Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.
