Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sourcing and Merchandising Manager to join our team at Quince. This role is pivotal in identifying and securing partnerships with vendors to ensure quality, cost-efficient products. The ideal candidate will drive excellence in partner operations, optimize pricing and costs, and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business needs and identify suppliers to secure the best quality, cost, speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Pitch and onboard vendor partners swiftly, setting clear criteria for initial test periods and scalability.
• Manage supplier relationships through onboarding training and performance management.
• Drive excellence in partner operations, expanding supply base, and improving product costs and quality.
• Collaborate on pricing and cost optimization with merchants, procurement, and vendor partners.
• Work towards speed, scalability, and flexibility in operations through material staging and capacity management.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and sustainability standards in sourcing practices.
• Develop risk management and contingency plans, including backup vendors and alternative sourcing strategies.
• Act as an ambassador to partners, building and deepening relationships for continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of sourcing and merchandising experience in men's apparel categories with high-end brands.
• Proven self-motivation and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
• Strong analytical skills focused on execution, process improvement, and brand enhancement.
• Continuous learner with a proactive attitude, open to new perspectives and adaptable to change.
• Solid background in supply chain management or operations within the retail landscape.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across teams, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
