We’re a small but mighty crew of 14 in downtown SF. Between us, we’ve scaled accounting at Notion, built ledgers at Affirm, launched companies from scratch, and yes—even passed the CPA exams. We’re Accountants, but the fun kind.

About the Role

This is revenue accounting, but with a twist. You’ll flex both your GAAP expertise and your SQL skills to deliver clarity for fast-growing software companies. One day you’re helping a Founder decode a hairy contract, the next you’re brainstorming with Engineers on how to automate revenue recognition. It’s accounting—but way more interesting.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end revenue accounting process (contracts → invoicing → recognition → reporting) as a trusted consultant to our customers.

• Wrangle messy datasets into clean, auditable records using SQL.

• Partner with Quanta Clients to explain the “why” behind their numbers.

• Develop revenue policies and controls that are GAAP solid but startup agile.

• Put on your Product Manager hat and work side by side with Engineering to build the accounting automation tools you wish already existed.

• Jump in on early-stage projects outside of accounting—because everyone here wears a few hats.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Revenue Accounting at a fast-moving SaaS startup.

• Comfortable in SQL and with large, complex datasets.

• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP (ASC 606).

• Excellent communicator who enjoys working directly with Founders.

• Familiarity with fintech tools (Stripe, Ramp, Brex, Mercury, Rippling, Gusto).

• Excited to build in-person with a collaborative team in SF.

Bonus points for: CPA license, leadership experience, product/engineering curiosity.
