Quality Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Establish and enforce practices across the company to ensure that hardware is designed, built, and operated with the highest level of engineering rigor.
• Perform independent assessments of subsystem and system designs to understand vulnerabilities and risk.
• Drive architectural decisions across engineering functions to improve hardware reliability.
• Develop processes and tools to assess manufacturing issues, manage technical risk, and evaluate changes to reactor configuration.
• Oversee execution by technical teams including design reviews and regulatory and quality documentation; organize data into technical papers and deliverable reports.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of full-time experience with engineering problem solving in design, analysis, or test of systems.
• Experience with complex hardware and processes related to manufacturing, integration, testing or operations.
• Applied understanding of requirement derivation, negotiation and verification or experience with the product design process especially as it relates to defining systems, interfaces and specifications.
• Experience with Mission Assurance, Quality Assurance, Reliability Analysis, or Systems Engineering.
• Full product life cycle experience with hardware that has seen production.
