Quality Inspector II, Production Floor, Second Shift

📋 Description

• Conduct in-process and final inspections on propulsion components, large structures, and assemblies.
• Use precision hand tools to perform dimensional inspections on flight hardware.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to quality initiatives.
• Review hardware requirements and determine pass/fail; document non-conformances.
• Take closeout photos of large integrated assemblies after final walkdowns.
• Use borescopes to perform FOD inspections on machined parts or cavities.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in aerospace manufacturing, supporting hardware.
• Expert proficiency with precision hand tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gages).
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and production teams to address inspection findings.
• Thorough inspections; ensure strict compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Clear and effective communicator with inspectors, engineers, production personnel, and stakeholders.
• MRB experience; identify, document, and disposition non-conforming hardware; lift up to 25 lbs.
