Quality Inspector, Avionics

📋 Description

• Lead complex in-process and final inspections of flight hardware.
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership to avionics inspectors across shifts.
• Support production readiness: daily tag-ups, inspection planning, priorities.
• Act as a quality advocate on the production floor; escalate risks and improve processes.
• Provide detailed in-process inspections using drawings and CAD models to verify conformance.
• Independently verify and document results clearly and completely.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 5+ years of aerospace/military/manufacturing inspection experience.
• Read and interpret design drawings and CAD models.
• Dimensional inspections with aerospace standards.
• Calibrated inspection tools; experience with assembly/testing and QA principles.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 quality management systems.
