- Program and operate CMMs using CALYPSO, PC-DMIS or Metrologic software.
- Lead the creation of an aircraft inspection plan (CMMs, laser trackers).
- Interpret engineering drawings and translate them into CMM programs.
- Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure tolerances and specs.
- Record and maintain inspection data and reports for SPC analysis.
- Regularly inspect and maintain CMMs to ensure accuracy.
🎯 Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years in metrology with CALYPSO, PC-DMIS or Metrologic; hands-on CMMs.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting GD&T.
- Experience creating and approving first article inspections.
- Experience with MES systems and creating inspection plans electronically.
- Experience in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
🎁 Benefits
- Base pay range: $52,000 - $72,000 (USD).
