Quality Assurance Specialist

📋 Description

• Perform finished product sampling and inspection.
• Assist with sampling, inspection, customer complaints, product investigations, and CAPA.
• Ensure products meet specifications and brand standards.
• Identify quality risks and partner with operations to drive improvements.
• Write and maintain QMS documents, including change requests and routing/approval processes.
• Review in-process batch documentation for GMP/SQF compliance and good documentation practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (preferred) with 3-5 years' relevant QA experience.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry (FDA/HACCP/SQF) or cannabis.
• Detail-oriented with strong root-cause and CAPA skills.
• Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, change control, and good documentation practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Physical ability to sit/stand, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs; plant material exposure.
