Quality Assurance Specialist

📋 Description

• Performs finished product sampling and inspection.
• Performs equipment and product line clearances before production runs.
• Documents customer complaints and product investigations; assess risk and CAPA.
• Reviews in-process batch documentation to ensure real-time compliance with specs.
• Executes product quarantine, destruction, rework, recalls as needed.
• Collaborates with operations to identify root cause and implement improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; 3-5 years QA/QC in regulated environment, or equivalent.
• Experience in FDA/HACCP/SQF or cannabis/food/pharma settings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail; collaborate with operations to implement CAPA.
• Experience with sampling, inspection, batch documentation, CAPA processes.
• Knowledge of GMP/SQF; familiarity with QMS docs and SOPs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to follow procedures; lifting up to 50 lbs.
