As a MRI Technologist in our practice, you will provide premium services to our members who are presenting for their whole body MRI exams. What You'll Do Greet and register patients in the clinic, and answer any questions they may have related to the examScreen patients for safety, review medical history, and identify any contraindications for MRIConsent patients for participation in any ongoing research studiesOperate MRI systems in accordance with safety regulations, Q Bio protocols and imaging standards – including patient instruction, preparation, and scan executionCollect, analyze, and ensure the quality and integrity of imaging data; maintain quality control and protocol complianceImage Post Processing: responsible for post-processing images including quality control, transfer of images to PACS, and proper documentationEnsure adherence to established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs and safety standardsParticipate in the design, development and update of MRI protocols, procedures, operating standards, and clinic plansUtilize ancillary tools and equipment appropriately, including PACS and other software systemsMaintain scanner and room, troubleshoot MRI equipment issues and report them as necessary, order supplies, and order suppliesMaintain patient records and procedure documentation Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, engineers, and other healthcare/health-tech professionals What You'll Bring Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program or radiologic technology programCertification by ARRT or ARMRIT. Additional CRT licensing is preferred 1-3 years of experience as a clinical MRI Technologist preferredA strong base knowledge of MRI imaging, techniques, protocols and patient safetyBLS/CPR - Basic Life Support/CPR certificationAbility to work with a multi-disciplinary team, thrive in a high-pressure, fast paced environment, and handle emergency situationsDemonstrate patient care skills with an ability to explain complex medical terms and procedures in a manner that is easily understood by a non-medical audienceA willingness to learn new skillsStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsA customer focused attitude and presentationPride in your work with an ability to critically assess image qualityLeadership: Proven ability and interest in training other technologists in all facets of the role including patient safety, room preparation, effective communication, image acquisition, time management and post processing
