Responsibilities: Wireless & Bluetooth Validation- Develop and execute test plans for Bluetooth (BT) and wireless technologies, including BT, BLE, UWB, and other RF protocols.
- Perform functional, interoperability, and performance validation across different hardware and firmware versions.
- Validate wireless coexistence between Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and other wireless technologies.
- Ensure compliance with Bluetooth SIG, FCC, CE, and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct over-the-air (OTA) testing, range measurements, and power consumption analysis.
- Utilize tools like BT sniffers, spectrum analyzers, and protocol analyzers to capture and debug issues.
- Analyze packet-level performance using tools such as Ellisys, Frontline, or Wireshark.
- Investigate interference and signal degradation using RF chamber setups.
- Optimize wireless latency, throughput, and error rates under real-world conditions.
- Implement telemetry collection for RSSI, SNR, PER, jitter, and latency metrics.
- Work with Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW for scripting test automation.
- Support cloud-based and remote wireless testing environments.
- 7+ years of experience in Bluetooth and wireless validation or RF testing.
- Strong knowledge of Bluetooth (Classic, BLE), Wi-Fi (802.11), and RF fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with wireless test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, protocol sniffers).
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW for test automation- An advantage
- Familiarity with Bluetooth stack layers (HCI, L2CAP, GATT, A2DP, HFP, etc.).
- Experience with wireless debugging tools (Ellisys, Frontline, Wireshark, or similar).
- Understanding of coexistence testing, interference mitigation, and signal integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving and RF debugging skills.
- Experience in audio-over-Bluetooth testing (latency, codec performance).
- Familiarity with mobile OS Bluetooth stacks (Android, iOS, Windows, Linux).
- Knowledge of wireless regulatory compliance (FCC, CE, Bluetooth SIG).
- Hands-on experience with embedded firmware debugging tools.
