QA Automation Engineer I

📋 Description

• Review functional specs and design docs; use AI to spot gaps early in SDLC.
• Collaborate with developers to identify automation test cases; prototype with AI IDEs.
• Design, develop, and execute tests for product features and back-end; advocate AI-driven automation.
• Maintain automation frameworks (Cypress/Playwright/Locust) using LLMs to refactor and reduce flaky tests.
• Develop automated test result reports and highlight quality risks.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and track bugs with AI-assisted root-cause analysis.

🎯 Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience: 1-3 years in Software Quality Assurance, with strong web app testing.
• Test automation: Design, build, and maintain test frameworks (Playwright preferred).
• Programming: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• AI-Augmented Development: Use AI tools to accelerate test authoring and debugging.
• API Testing: Manual and automated testing of REST/GraphQL APIs (Postman, RestAssured, Locust).
