Lead global media events strategy for earned media.
Build relationships with reporters, producers, and influencers.
Support development of Okta’s narrative and exec thought leadership on security and tech.
Assist with media issues management, inquiries and responses.

🎯 Requirements

5-8 years in PR/communications; agency or in-house a plus.
Expert in pitching journalists; cybersecurity/AI experience a plus.
Passion for tech and business media; strong sense for newsworthiness.
Strong writing skills with a distinct POV.
Detail-oriented; ability to manage multiple high-profile projects.
Willing to travel a couple times a year.
