📋 Description

• Verifies test requisitions and documents discrepancies.
• Verifies patient identity by patient ID.
• Obtains blood specimens via venipunctures and finger sticks.
• Maintains specimen integrity with aseptic technique.
• Oversees PSC operations and phlebotomy program at location.
• May supervise other phlebotomists and travel for stocking/training.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years phlebotomy experience.
• 5+ years managing phlebotomy operations/teams preferred.
• BS/BA degree preferred; HS diploma required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred where regulations permit.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• HIPAA/PHI privacy and policy training required within 30 days.
