Provider Directory Optimization Specialist

📋 Description

• Analyze how providers appear across payer directories and third-party platforms.
• Optimize provider profiles to improve ranking by insurance, specialty, and location.
• Ensure fields like specialty, taxonomy, availability, panel status, telehealth, languages are complete.
• Identify and resolve gaps that harm provider visibility or search performance.
• Monitor performance trends and adjust optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prioritize updates for relevance and positioning.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in provider data, healthcare ops, directory management, or analytics.
• Strong understanding of how provider directories work (payer/third-party).
• Experience with structured data (Excel, SQL, or similar).
• Detail-oriented with focus on data accuracy and completeness.
• Analytical thinker who links data insights to practical improvements.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills.
• Bonus: experience optimizing profiles on Psychology Today, Zocdoc, or payer directories.
• Bonus: familiarity with NPI, CAQH, taxonomy codes, provider data structures.
