Propulsion Technician II

📋 Description

• Assemble, disassemble, inspect propulsion motors and components.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair electric and hybrid propulsion systems.
• Conduct functional and performance tests with specialized equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Document work per FAA and company standards; maintain ESD compliance.
• Support prototype builds and flight-test prep; collaborate with engineering.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Tech or equivalent training.
• 2+ years in aviation maintenance or electric motor systems.
• Familiarity with propulsion motors (AC/DC, brushless, PM) and drive systems.
• Knowledge of high-voltage safety and ESD procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation and specs.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
