  • Own fabrication, processes, and assembly of Raptor thrust chamber and nozzle extension hardware.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing methods for fabrication, joining, finishing, and verification.
  • Create and refine manufacturing strategies, work instructions, fixtures, tooling, and workholding.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines with telemetry to enable SPC, predictive analytics, and ML.
  • Partner with propulsion design, materials, production, and supply chain to improve manufacturability, reliability, and performance.
  • Own the production line, including process consistency, quality, capital equipment, safety, and revisions.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with manufacturing process development for complex metallic components.
  • Ability to work in an integrated team with technicians, engineers, and managers.
  • Experience with machining, brazing, welding, forming, tube bending, and assembly.
  • Understanding of test methods and data acquisition systems.
  • Experience generating, reading, and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Expertise in design for manufacturability (DFM) with proven development-to-production success.
