📋 Description

• Create original, standards-aligned ELA assessment items mapped to CCSS/state standards.
• Select and curate high-quality reading passages meeting Lexile requirements.
• Transfer and format existing ELA assessments from district/state sources into Formative.
• Produce and configure technology-enhanced items (TEIs) with accurate metadata tagging.
• Conduct systematic quality assurance reviews to ensure unbiased content and editorial standards.
• Evaluate Depth of Knowledge (DOK) to validate cognitive rigor for each item.

🎯 Requirements

• Professional assessment author with 1+ year experience writing/reviewing ELA items.
• Assessment methodology expert with knowledge of formative, common, and summative design.
• Standards/framework specialist with CCSS/state ELA alignment expertise.
• Mastery of Depth of Knowledge (DOK) for cognitive rigor.
• Skilled in technical item production and TEIs on digital platforms.
• Editorial excellence with knowledge of style guides, fairness, accessibility.
