Program Manager, Fellowships

📋 Description

• Lead the next Fellowship recruitment and selection cycle, refine criteria, coordinate reviews, and prepare materials for leadership and advisors.
• Manage cohort formation, oversee offers, contracting timelines, and public announcements with Legal, Communications, and Grants teams.
• Design onboarding experience for new Fellows and host organizations.
• Establish clear project management systems, documentation practices, and communication rhythms.
• Support planning for upcoming convenings and moments of visibility (including MozFest).
• Own end-to-end execution of the Mozilla Fellowships program across recruitment, onboarding, delivery, and alumni engagement.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in program management, grantmaking, fellowships, leadership development, or cohort-based initiatives.
• Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with overlapping timelines.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, tracking, and execution across parallel workstreams.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and reporting processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate complex information into clear updates.
• Experience collaborating with senior leaders, advisors, and external partners; able to operate in a remote, distributed environment.
