Program and Design Specialist II

📋 Description

• Design and deliver afterschool biodiversity and climate change programs.
• Develop, teach, and supervise afterschool courses.
• Create fee-based customized field trips; coordinate with teachers.
• Lead the summer camp curriculum and supervise instructors.
• Design non-customized field trip resources for schools.
• On-site presence five days/week at the Academy.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Education, Environmental Studies, or related field.
• Two years of experience teaching groups in classroom or informal settings.
• Experience developing and leading hands-on science and nature activities.
• Experience working with English Language Learners preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain; background check clearance required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
