Production Colorist

📋 Description

• Review production samples and color fastness; ensure consistency across lots.
• Communicate color comments to suppliers using standard language (24-72h).
• Track lab dips and bulk samples to meet timing and deadlines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; report color status and risks.
• Manage color standard library; maintain physical and digital binders.
• Advise on color feasibility and dye methods; identify development limits.

🎯 Requirements

• Background in apparel product; color/fabric knowledge.
• 2-4 years in Color role or relevant role.
• Knowledge of dyes, dyeing techniques, and printing techniques.
• Knowledge of textile structures and color/testing standards.
• Proficiency in PC/MAC, Word, Excel and PLM.
• Familiarity with color evaluation processes; able to use light box and Datacolor.
