Product Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop self-service security frameworks and paved roads to ship secure code by default.
• Automate guardrails for common vulnerabilities; review multi-tenant data isolation and auth risks.
• Partner with product and engineering to review designs early; contribute to threat modeling and guidance.
• Research AI and LLM safety; implement controls for AI workflows.
• Manage pen testing and bug bounties; drive remediation and treat vulnerability management as engineering.
• Contribute to long-term security roadmaps, metrics, and planning.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in product security or application security; not an early career role.
• Strong CS background; write clean, maintainable code.
• Deep familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript, Node.js, and modern web frameworks; understand security implications.
• Hands-on experience securing LLM integrations and mitigating prompt injection or data leakage risks.
• Proficient in writing and reviewing code; security as engineering problem.
• Excellent cross-functional communication; balance security with engineering velocity.
