Product Manager, Consumer Lending Technology

📋 Description

• Own the roadmap for your product area from discovery through delivery.
• Lead discovery via customer interviews, usage analytics, and FI partner input.
• Write PRDs and user stories to give engineering clarity.
• Drive agile ceremonies and maintain a prioritized backlog aligned to OKRs.
• Define and monitor product KPIs to inform prioritization and impact.
• Partner with Engineering, UX, Sales, CS, and Compliance to unblock delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of product management experience.
• Proven end-to-end ownership of a product area — discovery, definition, delivery, iteration.
• Experience managing API-integrated software products with multiple stakeholder groups.
• Strong command of agile methodologies and modern product discovery practices (JTBD, continuous discovery).
• Analytical mindset — comfortable using data and product analytics tools to drive decisions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complexity.
• Deep customer empathy — translating insights into shipped improvements.
• Strongly preferred: Domain experience in consumer lending, LOS, or financial institution software.
• Strongly preferred: Familiarity with API/integration products.
• Strongly preferred: Exposure to AI/ML in product contexts.
• Strongly preferred: Experience working with banks, credit unions, or regulated financial institutions.
• Strongly preferred: Working knowledge of consumer lending regulations (TILA, ECOA, fair lending, CFPB guidance).
