Product Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead RCA investigations for field failures and quality events using 8D, fishbone, and fault trees.
• Own RCA cycle: intake, teardown, data analysis, corrective actions, and closeout docs.
• Interface with field service, project engineering, and customers to gather context.
• Drive sustaining engineering and cost reductions (COGS) via DFM, substitutions, and supplier changes.
• Support NPI for fluid machines; deliver production drawings, BOMs, beta tests, and certifications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on product issues and respond to engineering tickets and related duties.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering + 3+ years; advanced degree allowed for relevant concentration.
• Proficient in RCA methods (8D, FMEA, fishbone, fault tree) with leadership.
• Track record in COGS reduction via design, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• CAD proficiency in SolidWorks or Onshape.
• Familiar with ASME/API/ANSI/NFPA and related standards.
• Excellent communication; able to present to non-engineers.
• Willing to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
