Product Designer

📋 Description

• Design features that improve clinician discovery and use of MDCalc
• Contribute UX thinking from problem framing to final specs
• Support design of commercial-facing surfaces where UX intersects with revenue
• Contribute to and maintain MDCalc's design system with accessible components
• Partner with Engineering to close gaps between design and implementation
• Participate in user research, synthesize findings into design decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of UX design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work
• Strong interaction and visual design skills across desktop and mobile contexts
• Experience contributing to or working within a design system
• Comfortable operating across multiple product areas and workstreams simultaneously
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Experience collaborating directly with Engineers and Product Managers in an agile environment
