Product Design Manager, Engagement

📋 Description

• Lead a team of product designers focused on the Engagement domain.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to translate strategy into user experiences.
• Develop designers and maintain a high quality bar across the team.
• Collaborate with design, product and cross-functional leaders on roadmaps.
• Set pace; balance holistic thinking with feature impact; adjust scope.
• Occasionally contribute hands-on design work while primarily managing the team.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years as Design Manager or leading at least 2 Product Designers.
• 6+ years in multi-platform digital products with mobile focus.
• Prototyping experience to demonstrate product concepts.
• Strong partnerships with Engineering and Product leadership.
• People leadership: recruiting, training, and coaching.
• First principles thinker with pragmatic problem-solving skills.
• Excellent design sense and ability to mentor others.
