📋 Description

• Provide guidance to product and engineering teams across product lifecycle.
• Develop trusted relationships with business partners and stay informed on product developments.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements affecting your products and services.
• Draft terms of use, product policies, and product disclosures.
• Collaborate with tax, compliance, accounting, and outside counsel to support partners.
• Cultivate ideas on how legal can support new product developments and customer experiences.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in law firms, government, or in-house legal.
• Experience advising on consumer lending, Regulation Z, bank partnerships, and licensing.
• Familiarity with launching tech products and their legal/regulatory aspects.
• Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
• Ability to translate legal guidance into actionable business guidance.
• Comfort working in evolving, changing environments.
• Sound business judgment with creative problem solving.
• JD degree and active state bar membership.
