Product Counsel

📋 Description

• Translate complex legal analysis into actionable guidance for product/engineering teams.
• Proactively assess legal risks for products shaping data flows across the Internet.
• Review and draft technology transaction agreements, licensing, and partner deals.
• Review marketing event agreements and support promotions/sweepstakes.
• Draft terms of service, disclosures, policies, and related processes.
• Apply privacy-by-design principles; lead data-flow reviews and PIAs with the privacy team.

🎯 Requirements

• JD degree admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of law firm/in-house experience; tech focus preferred.
• Technical background or strong interest in technology; degree not required.
• Experience with copyright and Internet law (AI Act, Data Act, DMCA, CFAA) desired.
• Strong communication; collaborative, empathetic; adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work cross-functionally with legal and non-legal teams; Jira experience preferred.
