Lead electrical, machinery, and functional safety topics for compliant design.
Develop and maintain product certification; perform risk assessments.
Drive Design for Compliance (DfC) and set electrical/mechanical design requirements.
Define safety concepts; determine PLr and SIL targets from risk.
Review electrical designs for IEC 60204-1 and IEC 62368-1 compliance.
Facilitate hazard analyses per ISO 12100 and reliability calculations (MTTFd/DCavg).

🎯 Requirements

Degree in engineering or science (Bachelor, Master or PhD)
Experience in certification of electrical and mechanical products
Strong Machinery, electrical, and functional safety experience
Translate regulatory requirements into practical engineering solutions
Pragmatic, hands-on communicator
Knowledge of ISO/IEC standards and regulations
Experience with UL/NFPA approvals (North America) bonus
