Product and Regulatory Counsel

📋 Description

• Grow Brex card, banking, and payments products.
• Advise on card/financial regulations; guide risk strategy.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, sales, and partnerships.
• Break projects from ideation to launch using first principles.
• Decide when to build in-house vs outside counsel to save costs.
• Track regulatory trends to keep Brex ahead.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in law firms and fintech, with banks/regulators.
• Familiarity with UDAP, AML, CARD Act, ACH rules, money transmission.
• Excellent written and verbal communication (memos, disclosures, regulator comms).
• Ownership mindset; comfort handling complex matters.
• Entrepreneurial mindset in a fast-paced environment.
• Law degree and admission to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
