Perform risk assessments on complex machinery; design SIS/SIL safety
Serve as Laser Safety Officer (LSO) for the department
Conduct PFMEAs to uphold safe manufacturing processes
Analyze tooling and GSE for safety/load factors
Provide safety design guidance on high pressure systems and test readiness reviews

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM; relocation to Hawthorne required
1+ years in manufacturing/quality/design engineering (internships count)
Master's degree in ME/AE/Materials/EE preferred
CAD proficiency: NX, SolidWorks, Creo, Catia
Quality tools: PFMEA, DOE, SPC, RCA, APQP; metrology
MySQL, Python, R, JMP, Minitab, Tableau, Ignition; Ansys (CAE/CFD)
