  • Activate, qualify, and optimize painting processes for Super Heavy boosters
  • Drive cleanliness standards across Starship to eliminate FOD
  • Develop and productionize processes, equipment, and protocols for corrosion protection
  • Analyze process data and perform root-cause analysis to improve yield and cost
  • Lead DOE experiments to improve paint adhesion and cleaning efficacy

๐ŸŽฏ Requirements

  • 1+ years in process engineering for fluids, chemical systems, manufacturing, or coatings
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, aerospace, or materials engineering
  • 3+ years in aerospace manufacturing, coatings, cleanliness/FOD, or wet chemical processes
  • Strong knowledge of corrosion protection and paint applications (epoxies/urethanes)
  • Familiar with P&IDs, PFDs, CAD (NX/SolidWorks), and statistical tools
  • Hands-on with cleanrooms, chemical cleaning, FOD prevention, or cryogenic/chemical fluids
