Principal Software Engineer - Bidder & Pacing Platform Team (Buy-Side)

📋 Description

• Architect and build ultra-low-latency real-time bidding systems for buy-side ads.
• Lead bidder services handling millions of QPS with tight SLAs (Golang/C/C++).
• Design pacing, budget management, and delivery optimization across CPA/ROAS/CTR.
• Own core systems for deal execution, auction participation, bid shading.
• Build real-time data pipelines for impressions, clicks, conversions using Kafka/Flink/Spark.
• Collaborate with ML to productionize bid optimization and reach models.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Golang and C/C++ experience; low-latency backend systems.
• Proven experience designing and operating real-time bidding platforms or ad serving systems.
• Deep understanding of campaign pacing, budget allocation, and optimization algorithms.
• Experience with streaming/distributed systems (Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming).
• Strong familiarity with OpenRTB, VAST, and programmatic ad workflows.
• SQL, PostgreSQL; large-scale analytics platforms (Snowflake/BigQuery).
• Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong CS fundamentals; cross-functional collaboration and end-to-end ownership.
