Principal Security Operations and Enablement Engineer

📋 Description

• Own and evolve the SO&E technical strategy to address gaps.
• Translate SOC pain points into scoped, buildable solutions backlog.
• Translate priority into sequenced technical requirements for delivery.
• Build workflows, automations, APIs, internal tooling, and dashboards.
• Create dashboards and reports for leadership visibility into security/workflow health.
• Reduce toil via automation and smarter tooling, including AI where appropriate.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building workflow automation, internal tooling, or operational infra in security.
• Translate operational pain into precise technical requirements across orgs.
• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages.
• Experience building API integrations between tools that don't natively connect.
• Familiarity with SIEMs, ticketing systems, and alerting platforms.
• Experience building dashboards and reporting tooling for visibility without a BI team.
• Comfort in ambiguous, fast-moving environments; set technical direction without a playbook.
