Principal Product Manager, AI Compliance

📋 Description

• Drive AI compliance and governance strategy across Pinner and advertiser AI products.
• Own AI training data controls (e.g., opt-out) balancing performance, privacy, and regulatory needs.
• Expand AI compliance tooling, incl. detection/labeling and governance workflows.
• Partner with Legal, Privacy, Policy, Security, and Engineering to translate regulations into product workstreams.
• Lead cross-functional programs across product areas, infra, and Eng for AI governance.
• Serve as principal thought partner on AI governance; influence long-range strategy and infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep AI/ML or data platform product experience; AI safety/compliance a plus.
• Proven success leading cross-company, multi-year programs at Staff/Principal level.
• Experience partnering with Legal/Privacy/Policy/Security to implement regulatory requirements.
• Fluent in data governance concepts—classification, lineage, retention, opt-outs, enforcement.
• Track record building or scaling compliance tooling—policy engines, inventories, workflows, audits.
• Exceptional communication to align execs and teams on AI risk and sequencing.
