Principal Product Designer

📋 Description

• Define the foundational IA for a new AI-enabled IDE.
• Report to VP of Product & Design and partner with Chief Technology & AI Officer.
• Architect IA for complex data workflows: dependencies, versioning, state, environments.
• Lead AI-native interaction; NL-based workflows for generation and iteration.
• Design AI reliability frameworks for validation and reversibility.
• Scale enterprise governance; UX for auditability, compliance, permissions without sacrificing speed.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in product design, esp. developer platforms/IDE/dev tools.
• Systems thinking mastery; IA and how engineers plan, build, test, deploy.
• Technical breadth; comfortable with declarative systems, complex state, traceable workflows.
• AI-first mindset; embedding AI into core workflows with trust and explainability.
• Strategic versatility; define new interaction paradigms in ambiguous spaces.
• Bonus: experience building at high-scale developer platforms or enterprise-grade orchestration tools.
