Principal Network Engineer (Starlink Ground Network)

📋 Description

• Manage and expand network interconnections, co-location sites and POPs
• Improve network performance and reliability using metrics and capacity planning
• Lead network integration and troubleshooting for Starlink customers
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and network engineers to improve Starlink products
• Support sales with technical pre-sales as Starlink SME
• Automate network devices and deployment tools

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technical/engineering; or 2+ yrs networking exp
• 7+ yrs networking exp deploying enterprise or cloud/web-scale networks
• Layer-1 experience: transport, DWDM, optical fiber
• Experience deploying networking hardware (Routers, Switches, Firewalls)
• Linux production environment experience and Python or Bash scripting
• Routing Protocol experience (BGP/OSPF/IS-IS)
