📋 Description

• Develop a complete mission concept based on customer needs
• Perform mission-level analysis and own top-level mission budgets
• Requirements definition and design for the mission and payloads
• Leverage tools or code to explore engineering trade studies
• Understand metrics and trades; collaborate with instrument design team
• Perform spacecraft performance and constellation configuration evaluation
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to meet objectives

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. or higher in engineering plus 12 years space mission experience
• Higher degrees count 2 years if relevant topics
• Excellent communication, presentation, coordination
• Dedication to data-driven conclusions
• Spacecraft design experience
• Space mission design experience
• Software: Python, Julia, Matlab, C, or C++
• Travel to Mountain View for in-person meetings and testing
• Fast-paced environment with new challenges weekly
• Active TS/SCI clearance
