• Own end-to-end payroll data lifecycle from onboarding to payment files.
• Architect data pipelines and bitemporal payroll logic.
• Build API-first connectors and event-driven data sync across HRIS and payments.
• Design robust data models and ensure multi-jurisdiction payroll accuracy.
• Lead architectural decisions balancing product needs and data integrity.

• Deep Python for engine development; Node.js/TypeScript for integrations.
• PostgreSQL mastery with bitemporal modeling and window functions.
• ETL/ELT patterns and data validation; Exactly-Once processing.
• API-first integrations and event-driven architecture.
• HRIS/HCM integrations knowledge (Workday, HiBob, BambooHR).
• Architectural leadership and data-model discipline.
