Principal Engineer - Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Architect, upgrade, design and build scalable infra with Kubernetes, AWS, and RDS.
• Drive roadmaps for infrastructure and engineering to improve reliability and scalability.
• Find and fix issues across systems before they hit production using tooling and AI.
• Drive capacity planning, benchmarking, and stress testing to handle growth.
• Define, maintain and enforce SLAs and alerts across infrastructure.
• Lead AI enablement efforts to apply AI and automation to reliability and productivity.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in professional software or infrastructure engineering with backend and production experience.
• Deployed significant changes to a production system in the last 30 days.
• Strong proficiency in Golang, with experience building RESTful APIs.
• Deep expertise with SQL-based RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and schema/query optimization.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems design patterns (e.g., transactional outbox, event-driven architecture and queues).
• Demonstrated ability to drive ideas forward, influence decisions, and lead initiatives.
