Principal DevOps Engineer

📋 Description

• Define the long-term technical vision for the cloud platform and architectural strategy.
• Set standards for reliability, observability, and SLO/SLI frameworks.
• Serve as the senior authority translating cross-functional needs into platform roadmaps.
• Own the developer experience roadmap; close gaps in self-service infra and CI/CD.
• Proactively surface risks in AWS, IaC, and delivery pipelines; drive action.
• Translate infra risk into business-aligned narratives for exec stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of cloud platform or infrastructure engineering experience with org-level impact.
• Expert AWS skills: EC2/ECS/Lambda, VPCs, Route 53, CloudFront, RDS, S3, IAM.
• Deep expertise in cloud reliability and operational excellence with SLO/SLI and incident lifecycle.
• Terraform and IaC leadership: modular strategy, policy-as-code, self-service provisioning.
• Solutions engineering partner and developer-experience advocate; aligns priorities across teams.
