Principal AI Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and optimize generative AI to automate Figure processes.
• Train, fine-tune, and deploy LLMs on proprietary data.
• Build custom models/algorithms for large datasets and monitor performance.
• Mine and analyze data to train ML models for customer experiences and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities to improve processes.
• Cross-functional collaboration to deploy AI solutions and monitor outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years building NLP/ML in production.
• Hands-on training, fine-tuning, and deploying LLMs.
• Kotlin experience or background in consumer finance is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills; translate problems into model strategy; rapid prototyping.
• Proficient in Python for analysis and modeling.
• Experience with GCP/AWS and distributed tools (Ray, Spark, Hadoop, Hive).
