Prep Welder - Days

📋 Description

• Operates safety equipment and follows safe work habits.
• Aligns and welds parts to form structures per blueprints.
• Sets up and operates hand and power tools for welding.
• Inspects steel/workpieces to ensure specifications.
• Moves parts safely using hoists or cranes.
• Welds components in flat positions.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints required.
• Ability to read a tape measure required.
• Welding certification or prior welding experience; GMAW preferred.
• Certifications or prior experience using moving machinery, such as cranes, preferred.
• Must pass a site weld test.
