Power Procurement Manager

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end energy procurement process from market analysis to post-deal management.
• Lead execution of PPAs, VPPAs, and energy contracts across US/Europe.
• Standardize contracting and risk workflows with Finance and Legal.
• Balance cost, risk, reliability, and sustainability in data center energy strategies.
• Collaborate with data center teams and operators on site timelines and load growth.
• Hedge energy risk with forwards/structured products; monitor market exposure.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in energy procurement, trading, or utility energy markets.
• US power market expertise; familiarity with European markets/regulations.
• Track record negotiating complex energy contracts: PPAs, tariffs, agreements.
• Forecasting, market/basis risk, and financial modeling expertise.
• Proven hedging strategy design to manage price volatility and congestion.
• Experience negotiating with utilities, suppliers, and developers on interconnection.
• Highly organized with disciplined contracting, approval, and risk workflows.
• Excellent communicator with cross-functional collaboration across teams.
