Policy & Government Relations Associate

📋 Description

• Track bills and regulatory actions in lending and EWA.
• Manage local lobbyists in states with engagement needs.
• Educate regulators and legislators about Brigit and the EWA model.
• Engage in local legislative processes via letters and bill drafting.
• Coordinate with compliance, legal and product teams on upcoming regulatory changes.
• Participate in trade associations to promote inclusive regulation.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years policy experience in public policy/government relations (fintech).
• Proven track record passing at least one state law from conception to passage.
• Experience monitoring state/federal legislation and regulatory actions in lending/EWA.
• Experience managing local/state lobbyists and coordinating advocacy.
• Proven ability to build relationships with regulators/legislators to educate on EWA.
