PLC Controls Technician (Days)

📋 Description

• Manage controls and automation testing, quality control, data retrieval, and training for equipment.
• Assist with controls/automation interface, testing, data, and training for packaging equipment.
• Assist with development and modification of PLC and HMI programs.
• Provide project engineering support to process areas.
• Provide controls support and assist plant mechanics in troubleshooting.
• You will work around moving machines – mixers, conveyors, and forklifts.

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain Allen-Bradley MicroLogix and ControlLogix hardware.
• Perform Allen-Bradley PLC programming implementing RSLogix5, RSLogix500 and RSLogix5000 software or equivalent.
• Implement and troubleshoot industrial networks including Ethernet, Remote I/O and DeviceNet.
• Read electrical schematics, P&IDs and PFDs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical control systems, including PLC controls, networking, and HMI.
• Perform PID loop tuning and instrument calibration procedures.
