Billing Specialist & Finance Associate

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing Specialist &Finance Associate to join our finance team in Malta. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for finance and are eager to grow within a supportive environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoicing & Accounts Receivable:

• Manage the invoicing process for an assigned portfolio of clients to ensure timely and

  accurate billing.

• Monitor outstanding invoices, follow up with clients to ensure timely payments, and resolve any billing discrepancies.

• Assist in implementing efficient invoicing procedures and systems to improve workflow, including collaboration with Commercial, BI, and Tech teams as part of ongoing internal process improvements.

• Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and customer account details.

• Collaborate with the commercial department to address customer billing issues.

• Perform other related duties as may be required.

Financial Management:

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

• Accounting of revenue and expense transactions in Xero

• Perform bank reconciliations

• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines

• Assist with other accounting duties as may be required.

Requirements and skills:

• Based in Malta

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Great attention to detail

• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g.Xero)

• BSc/BA in accounting, finance or a relevant field, but candidates with equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

• Experience in the gaming or gambling industry (B2B) and understanding of industry-specific billing requirements are considered a plus.

• Be ready to have business trips occasionally
