- Assist in client implementation and plan changes for document prep.
- Manage benefit plan documentation processes and reviews (SMM, SBC, SPD).
- Review prospective conversion plan documents and SPDs for accuracy.
- Draft, finalize, and maintain standard plan documents (SBCs, amendments).
- Stay current on ERISA, PPACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA requirements.
- Support client communications and cross-functional collaboration.
๐ฏ Requirements
- 1-3 years employee benefits paralegal or similar experience.
- 1-3 years Health and Welfare benefit consulting in ERISA & Non-ERISA.
- 3 years client management in self-funding document creation and management.
- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent; paralegal degree preferred.
- PDM portal doc management experience or SBC templates is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and 60-70 WPM typing.
